Generali Foundation: 30 Years

Founded in Vienna in 1988 to promote contemporary art, the Generali Foundation is now an institution renowned around the world in particular for its singular and widely acclaimed collection. After focusing on postwar Austrian sculpture in its early years, it soon expanded the spectrum of its activities, exhibiting, studying, and collecting critical art. The collection includes extensive bodies of work and archival materials from artists whose innovative works now draw worldwide attention. On occasion of the Generali Foundation's thirtieth anniversary, the exhibition invites visitors to explore its history and achievements.
