The MdM MÖNCHSBERG is perched on the steep cliff of Mönchsberg mountain, high above the rooftops of the old town of Salzburg and presents modern and contemporary art. The building with its very purist architecture represents an ideal location for exhibitions of 20th and 21st century art on 2300 m2 of exhibition space. The MdM MÖNCHSBERG presents works from its own collection and temporary exhibitions of international art on three floors of the building.The Museum der Moderne Mönchsberg with its spectacular vistas of the city of Salzburg offers a unique location for all kinds of events, far removed from the cliché of baroque Salzburg.Exclusive guided tours of current exhibitions of international contemporary art add a special touch to your event and are an absolute cultural highlight in one of the most beautiful spots of the city of Salzburg.
MdM Rupertinum
The MdM RUPERTINUM is situated in the heart of the festival district of Salzburg. The baroque town palace, the facade of which was designed by Friedensreich Hundertwasser, presents modern and contemporary art. Temporary exhibitions feature paintings, sculptures and graphics, but also works from the Austrian Photographic Gallery of the MdM SALZBURG.Owing to its central location and the atmosphere of a baroque town palace in combination with contemporary and modern art, the museum is a unique venue for events of all kind, right in the heart of the old town of Salzburg. Receptions, exclusive guided tours or lectures in an intimate surrounding - the MdM RUPERTINUM is an insider tip as prime event locations in Salzburg.
