The current exhibitions at the Museum der Moderne Salzburg are popular with wide audiences. Visitors of all ages thrill to the rich colors and aesthetic splendors of Yinka Shonibare CBE. End of Empire at the Mönchsberg venue and explore the artist’s subtly nuanced and humorous engagement with the British Empire’s legacy.

In order to accommodate the large public interest in the exhibition, the Museum der Moderne Salzburg has revised its schedule to allow for a three-week extension of the exhibition. It will now be on view through October 3, 2021 (rather than September 12, as previously scheduled).

The next exhibition to go up in the galleries on level 3 of the museum’s Mönchsberg venue, Ellen Harvey. The Disappointed Tourist, will accordingly open three weeks later, on October 23, 2021. Its closing date, February 20, 2022, remains unchanged.
