As part of this year’s international Flavourama Festival – a platform for Hip Hop and House dance culture in Salzburg – the Performatory moves into the Museum der Moderne Salzburg for the first time, transforming the museum into a vibrant, performative space.

Selected dancers from the street and club scene will engage in spontaneous performances throughout the museum, creating a dynamic dialogue between movement, music, and the exhibited art.
As the audience embarks on a guided tour through the exhibition, they will encounter unexpected pop-up performances, experiencing dance and visual art in a new, immersive way. The museum becomes a performative playground—where styles merge, boundaries dissolve, and artistic exchange unfolds in real time.
