New design, new highlights, new favourite pieces!

After a complete renovation, the museum shop will reopen its doors on 13 December 2025. A newly conceived space between museum and everyday life — a place where design, art and sustainability meet. Here, special objects find their home: selected design pieces, books, editions and products by regional makers.

Under the motto “Time for Something New”, we are celebrating the reopening with a diverse programme. The afternoon will be dedicated to new beginnings, materiality and creativity: from a short guided tour through the new shop and the redesigned foyer to a children’s book reading, live demonstrations, talks with producers and an artist talk on the theme of time.
