Opening: GENERATOR #5: Georgia Gardner Gray

With GENERATOR #5: Georgia Gardner Gray, the Museum der Moderne Salzburg presents the first solo exhibition in Austria by the New York–based artist and invites you to the opening at the Rupertinum.

Georgia Gardner Gray is one of the most exciting voices in contemporary painting. In this exhibition, she presents new works in which prehistoric stone circles intersect with popular culture, art history, and questions of cultural heritage. Through subtle humour and unexpected visual narratives, Gray explores how history is constructed and how our ideas of authenticity, art, and the present continue to evolve.
