At the Museum der Moderne Salzburg, art does not begin only once you enter the exhibition galleries. Around our two locations and in the staircase of the museum on the Mönchsberg, works by internationally renowned artists can be discovered in unexpected places: under the open sky, on façades, integrated into the architecture, or framing the view of the sky. Some are permanent features of the museum, while others shape these spaces for several years.
